Canada Connects !

This is our first ConnectUs newsletter. It's all about who we are, and what we do. ConnectUs is a company that designs, develops and delivers training programs. At ConnectUs it's not about business, it's about how business works!

The "I Think I Can" tour is coming to a close! For all our friends and colleagues who have been part of this exciting cross Canada tour – the directory you've been waiting for is being created now! It will be an incredible networking tool and will be available to you in early 2004.

Imagine, not only will you be able to get to know the people we met during the tour, you will get the chance to build business with those people. It was my dream to unite Canadian businessmen and women across the country. To teach them to network and get work – and now that dream is becoming a reality. In this newsletter, we have included an overview on the Prime Minister's Task Force on Women Entrepreneurs.

We have also included information on PIPEDA, the new privacy compliance act that comes into effect in 2004. ConnectUs is on the leading edge in the art of effective networking, and this newsletter will serve as permission for us to continue connecting with you, once you have completed the questionnaire below. It is our goal to be compliant with the guidelines in the act.

The tour began in January of 2003, we travelled across each province adding new names to our network, and building relationships at every event. During the year we spoke to hundreds of conferences for women in business, entrepreneurs, family owned businesses, government agencies and professional associations. We have created an amazing resource and we are happy to share it with you.

During the year, we collected thousands of business cards, now it's time to make this network, work! Canada Connects is all about building business where both sides win! Our tour took us across Canada and around the world – now we bring that world of connections directly to you.
